How to use SHiiP with your Flutterwave Store
Setting up SHiiP is easy! Just follow these simple steps:
- Log in to your Flutterwave dashboard and click Store.
- Click on “Shipping” on the left sidebar on your dashboard.
- From the dropdown under shipping preference, select “Use Flutterwave’s shipping partners.“
- Fill in your pickup address. This is where the delivery company will come to collect your customer’s orders.
- Make sure all your products have the correct weight as this is used to determine the delivery price for your customers.
When an order is placed, you will get a dashboard notification and an email from SHiiP letting you know the carrier your customer chose, and their delivery timelines. Once you see the order on your dashboard:
- Package the order and have it ready for delivery.
- Click on the order, then select ready for shipping.
- A dispatch rider will be assigned to pick up from you and deliver to your customer.
Now, here is what happens with the new feature. When your order is ready for shipping, you will be notified of three steps:
- Picked up by shipping partner
- Out for delivery
You will also be given a tracking reference number.
