Flutterwave has become aware of a fraudulent platform operating under the domain “flutterwave.vip.” This platform is an impersonation scam that unlawfully uses Flutterwave’s brand identity and imagery to promote a Ponzi-style investment scheme targeting individuals in Cameroon. We have also identified multiple social media accounts, including on Facebook, associated with this illegal activity.
Flutterwave wishes to state unequivocally that:
- We do not operate any investment or wealth management schemes; and
- We do not have any office or physical presence at Rue Lottin Same, Boulevard de la Liberté, Douala, or any location purporting to be an “investment office.”

We are actively engaging with relevant authorities and taking appropriate steps to address this matter.
Members of the public are strongly advised to:
- Avoid interacting with the website flutterwave.vip or any similar platforms;
- Refrain from sharing personal or financial information; and
- Report any suspicious activity immediately.
